Conferences 11th Russian
Automotive Industry Forum took place on March 11th -13th
at the Ritz Carlton in Moscow. The
unprecedented number of attendees in 2008 reflected the increase in
activity in the region and reconfirmed the Forum status as the most important
automotive gathering of the year. Over 550 attendees gathered from 27
countries to hear General Directors of manufacturers, suppliers and
dealerships from the following companies examine current
and future industry developments, provide strategic and production forecasts,
evaluate recent strategic partnerships
and potential entry strategies as
well as give an honest assessment of their journey to success in the region: Renault Russia, PSA Peugeot Citroen,
General Motors CIS, GAZ Group, Ford Russia, Russian Machines, Kamaz, Volvo
Vostok, Intercos IV, MMK, LLK International, Delphi, Dupont, Johnson Controls,
Nokian Tyres, Johnson Matthey, Fuji Autotech AB, Lear Russia, Independence
Group, Avtomir, Genser Group and AAA Auto Group. With the
help of heads of regional government,
key investors, experience industry consultants
and solution providers, the 70+ speaker faculty were able to paint the picture
of the Russian Automotive Industry covering such topics as:

The 11th
Annual Russian Automotive Industry Forum provided delegates with a rich
social programme and various innovative features consisting of The 'out
of the box' speech and Book Signing session by David Meier who was kind enough to sign ten copies of his
Toyota Way Fieldbook and share his knowledge and experience on lean production
after having worked with Toyota for over 15 years. The Champagne Roundtable Discussions
which were held during the evening cocktail reception at the end of Day
