Several years ago the oil and gas companies in the Russian Federation entered into a new stage of relations with the government agencies, and then a great number of new GOSTs, National Standards and other official regulations came into sight. Associated and flare gas has drawn close attention of regulatory agencies. Government Decree of 08.11.2012 no.1148 “On the considerations of emission charge for the emissions due to gas flaring or associated gas dispersing”- had a sobering effect. While reading item 5 on the application of the coefficient equal to 120 in addition to the calculation rate of emissions in the absence of a gas metering station or its non-compliance with GOST 8.733-2011 " All- Russia Classifier of Measurement Units. Non-associated gas quantity and parameters measuring system. General metrological and technical requirements", everyone can clearly understand that the amount of the emissions penalty is much higher than the cost of a gas metering station. The era of speechmaking, play-acting, eyewash and window dressing fell into oblivion, along with the optical and thermomass flow meters, though.

     Innovative technologies make the world go round. 800 associated gas metering stations based on FLOWSIC 100R and 600R which have been put into operation for the last three years in Western and Eastern Siberia and in the Polar Urals, can serve as a clear proof of it. In order to fully meet needs of our customers we have almost all the necessary equipment in stock. These are ultrasonic flow meters of SICK company, Coriolis flow meters TRICORR from KEM Kuepers, ultrasonic flow meters DeltawaveR for fluid measurement with the built-in function of heat meter.

     The analytical equipment of SICK Maihak company allows flow continuous monitoring of the composition and concentrations of commercial gases. Gas analyzers are capable of performing complex tasks such as the analysis of multicomponent flue gases, control of the weak concentration of oxygen in the vacuum and asphalt units, monitoring of ammonia concentration, NO and NO2 in the denitrifying process; measuring H 2S и SO2 in the Claus process.
