History of RUSSIAN WOOD & TIMBER events

Many forestry sector companies regularly attend our flagship Russian Pulp & Paper conference in Vienna. This event has a 16-year history and is the principal gathering for the pulp & paper sector and an eagerly anticipated event. However, on a number of occasions, delegates mentioned to us that we should also create an annual platform for the wood & timber industry with the detailed focus on forestry management and raw materials supply, sawn timber, deep wood processing and timber products trade.

RUSSIAN WOOD & TIMBER, now in its 3rd year, enjoys strong support from some of the biggest forestry companies, including Ilim Group, Ilim Timber, International Paper, RusForest, John Deere and many others. Participants include forestry holdings, equipment manufacturers, policy makers and industry experts. 70% of our delegates are represented by senior decision-makers within companies, including General Directors, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Managing Directors and Divisional Directors.
