25 years at the leading edge of the Russian energy sector

28 - 30 September 2021

“Stolitsa” Business Centre, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

Earlier this summer we asked our global and Russian subscriber base of oil & gas professionals to weigh in on some of the major talking points for the Sakhalin Oil & Gas industry. Our questions covered everything from legislation, sanctions, prices and markets, LNG supply & demand, oilfield services, innovations, digitalisation, challenges and opportunities in both the Russian and Sakhalin oil & gas sector.

You can find the results summarised in the STATE OF THE INDUSTRY REPORT 2019. They reveal the spectrum of opinion among the region’s oil & gas community on the big issues shaping the industry, as well their perceptions of the main challenges and opportunities for the years ahead.

Respondents included oil & gas companies, oilfield service providers, equipment and other service providers, analysts, academics, and a range of industry stakeholders based in Sakhalin, across Russia and globally.

We also contacted a range of experts for a more detailed perspective on selected topics, including practitioners, analysts and prominent academics. Read the report for a summary of the responses and our analysis of the results, plus insights from:
